Accessibilities and Accommodations
Mission Statement
The mission of the Accessibilities and Accommodations Committee is to identify any community within the boundaries of Area 41 that is not adequately served by the Area 41 Service structure.
These communities are considered to have "accessibilities and accommodations" issues because of barriers of geography, language, culture, age, physical limitations, or other unusual situations.
This committee is charged with:
- providing information about the services of Alcholics Anonymous available to these communities.
- notifying the appropriate Area 41 Standing Committee for follow-up contact.
- when requested, working with the Area 41 Standing Committees, the local District Committees, and the local A.A. groups in their follow-up work.
